    • To provide advice and support to schools on matters relating to access and physical disability.

  2. Description of the service

    • To offer advice and support to schools on all issues related to the education of young people who have physical difficulties including:
       

      • Forward planning to increase accessibility to schools, including the curriculum;
         
      • Advice on making reasonable adjustments to schools' practice and the built environment to meet the needs of those with physical difficulties;
         
      • Advice and support for schools in meeting the care needs of those with physical difficulties;
         
      • Advice and support to schools in acquiring equipment to meet the needs of those with physical difficulties;
         
      • Advice on alterations/adaptations to the built environment to improve access for those with physical difficulties.
