
Traded Services Forum
The Traded Services Forum is set up primarily to advise on decisions to provide or secure services for schools and ensure that the traded services offered comply with the principles of best value. The Forum directs the work of the Commissioning, Procurement and Business Development Team.
The Forum is made up of Headteachers, Bursars, Premises Managers and Governors representing schools; Strategic, or the appropriate Managers from the Traded Services and supported by the Commissioning, Procurement and Business Development Team.
The current membership is:
- Chair: Sarah Sinclair, Deputy Director of Children's Services (Commissioning).
- Governors: Anne Wilson, Rod Ash, Dennis Fisher, Ian Garforth, David Appleyard.
- Facility Managers: Darren Clark, Weetwood Primary School; Stuart Clark, Brigshaw High School; Sheila May, Otley Prince Henry’s Grammar School; Tom Harbord, Guiseley High School.
- Directors of Finance/Business Managers: Paul Tidd, Swallow Hill Community College; Claire Stephenson, Crawshaw School; David Noble, Temple Moor High School; Michelle Cassar, Westerton Primary School; Helen Askam, White Laith Primary School; Pauline Bayley, Woodkirk High School.
- Network Managers: Lee Carter, Bruntcliffe High School
- Heads of Service: Moin Patel, Head of Knowledge and Information; Julie Meakin, Chief Commercial Services Officer; Mandy Snaith, Head of Catering and Cleaning Services; Pat Toner, Strategic Manager Resources; Iain Dunn, Corporate Procurement; Julia Shemilt, HR Business Manager; The Commissioning, Procurement and Business Development Team.
The Forum meets three times a year, one meeting a term. The meetings are held in the Merrion House boardroom between 4pm and 6pm.
